Mr. Cha Cha, a chef to a number of Indian ambassadors abroad, founded Himali Cha Cha and Sons. His passion for the rich spice blends of North Indian and Himalayan cooking, eventually led to the opening of Himali Cha Cha in 1979. The restaurant specializes in slow cooked curries, soups and salads, Biryani, and a selection of meats cooked in the tandoori oven.
There are now three main branches in Bangrak, Silom, and Sukhumvit. My favorites were the Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken and Fish Tikka, both of which were juicy and loaded with flavor.
